Photometer RI7002
The RI7002 Photometer is used in testing the integrity, checking leakages and breakages in high efficiency filter systems (HEPA & ULPA). Using the light scattering method, the Rigel RI7002 provides real-time integrity through detection of aerosol concentration upstream and downstream.
- Settable audible and visual alarms signal when user-defined set-points are exceeded
- Vacuum pump for ensuring a constant flow of sampled air of 1 CFM (28.3 litres/min)
- A system of solenoid valves allows the flow to be selected between three different sources: through an absolute filter for detecting the reference zero (CLEAR), from a position entering the filter being tested (UPSTREAM), from a position downstream of the filter being tested (DOWNSTREAM)
- Electro-optical scattering chamber
- Luminous source for radiation of the particles inside the scattering chamber
- Optical system for collecting the light diffused by the particles on a photomultiplier tube
- Electronic system consisting of linear amplifier of the signal coming from the photomultiplier
- Microprocessor
- Touch screen display
- Power supply unit
