Transmitter AMU-II Pharmacon AC (10-36 DAC) - Panel mount

An electronic transmitter for continuous measurements of conductivity of water for pharmaceutical purposes (purified water, water for injection (WFI)). The size of the transmitter complies with DIN 43700 which allows it to be mounted in control panels easily. The transmitter case is produced from Noryl® resin and its front panel has a protection degree conformed IP54.

Sensors:

Connections for a two-electrode conductivity sensor with built-in Pt1000 temperature sensor like Swansensor Pharmacon and for a digital sample flow meter.

• 0.005 µS/cm to 2 mS/cm
• Simultaneous display of non-compensated and temperature compensated conductivity
• Alarm function for limit values according to USP Stage 1 and user-defined action limits

User interface:

• Big backlit LC display for measuring value, sample temperature, sample flow and operating status
• Easy user menus in English, Chinese, German, French and Spanish. Simple programming of all parameters by keypad
• User management for controlled access to settings and other user menus
• Data logger for 3’500 data records stored at a selectable interval.

Connections:

• 2 signal outputs (0/4 - 20 mA) for measured values or continuous control
• 2 potential-free contacts as limit switches or as controllers, configuration normally open
• 1 potential-free alarm contact as summary alarm indication, selection NC (normally open) or NO (normally closed) via terminal
• 1 input for potential-free contact for hold or remote-off function
• 1 serial interface RS232 (for logger/history download and firmware updates via optional USB converter)
• All in- and outputs protected against over voltages.
